After sharing past adventures and ideas around the campfire, the need for local non-vehicle specific outfitter was clearly apparent. The idea was tossed around and it wasnt until the future business partners met again only a few months later along a remote trailhead in San Diego that they both realized the business was meant to happen.

A future trip to the beautiful Baja Peninsula would make the plans concrete at last and the business plans were solidified over CB radios on the 1,000-mile journey. After many sleepless nights and thousands of emails, we are proud to introduce ourselves to the Overland Business Community.

Business co-founder Kevin Speicher has over 15 years of technical off road and race/chase vehicle experience and a genuine love for all things off-road. His specialties include custom vehicle modifications using stock components and an amazing understanding and handle of GPS instrumentation.

Co-founder Verny Carvajal has successfully managed other small retail businesses and has been a Land Cruiser enthusiast for over 15 years. His interests are non-US spec overland vehicles and aftermarket equipment.

We have carefully hand-picked every product that we carry and assure you that we strive to carry only the highest quality products that have been routinely field-tested by our own personal expedition vehicles that see rigorous use and abuse. We believe in getting things right the first time around and recognize that our products fit the Buy the Best and Buy it Once mentality.

We are always searching for additional high-quality items that we can both use on our rigs and offer our customers and are open to hearing your thoughts on our products after your personal experiences.
